For those of you who own both the Pico Slim & RSA SR-71B, aside from the obvious physical aspects of size, ability of balanced output, step digital volume vs not, & SR-71B being able to drive difficult headsets, SQ-wise what would one expect to go from a Pico Slim to an SR-71B?
I understand RSA's typical amp signatures of deeper tighter basses, but aside from that would I find the SR-71B to have the same or wider/deeper soundstage than the Pico Slim? How about detail, instrument separation, etc. If I do "upgrade" to the SR-71B, I'll probably have my Ed8's Kobiconn terminated.
TIA
P.S. I've done a lot of searching but don't seem to read a lot of head-to-head comparisons between these two amps
P.P.S. the other alternative is to sit quietly and wait for the ALO RxMkIII and wait for a more head-to-head comparison between that and the SR-71B
