Questions on portable rigs

So a couple of questions:

 

1) If a DAP has digital out (iriver i hp 140 comes to mind) and i connect said DAP to a DAC that can handle 192 kHz files, will it be possible to play such high quality files? Or does my DAP have to be able to handle 192 kHz files itself.

 

2) Can I run a USB powered DAC AMP combo, like the fiio e10, directly off a DAP like the i hp 140? Or does the DAP need to provide more power?

1) no your dap need to support 192khz for it to output a 192khz digital output

2) fiio e10 will not work as a portable dac/amp (needs external power and optical or coaxial input depending on you dap with digital output)
