I looked at the seller's location and instantly got skeptical.

Just sayin', Chinese eBay dealers selling stuff at too-good-to-be-true prices are usually selling fakes.

*EDIT: just a heads up, Amazon has it on sale for $225.

Well he does have good feedback, so you might be lucky.

Plus he does accept returns.

GOOD FEEDBACK AND ACCEPTS RETURN, I WOULD GUESS ITS A GO. BUT THEY ARE FROM CHINA

no way those are real.

why why why would he sell them so far below street price if they were real?

99.2% is a well nothing short pristine and + when it comes to eBay, buyers have protection up the wazoo. I'd say get it, at worst you return them for a full refund. A scammer doesn't sell 1500 some odd items to get you good on a pair of Pioneers.

sure but the entire first page of feedback is for CHEAP (1.59$) womans scarves

This. Kinda sketchy no?

Could be a fake, or it could be the wrong item. Maybe the guy listed a second hand item as new ?

Not sure if this helps. They cost $149 shipped in Australia. Here's the link.

Those eBay one can still be fake.

They've sold 4 from that listing already.

I just went and checked what the seller also had. He also has a few other Sony headphones also at ridiculous prices. Odd, almost seemed like he got the headphones for free as a gift and is selling them for a profit.

I personally would not buy non-Chinese products that are both high end and nearly half price from China. Now, if you get it locally from Hong Kong, that's different.
