Word of warning. For me the K601 felt like my head was being flattened and the blood circulation to my ears cut off, not to mention being able to hear/feel my heartbeat due to the phones pressing on some artery or another. And the strange feeling that comes with the Kx0x series of having huge, deep, semi-rigid bowls around your ears, just doesn't sit right with me.
From me, the K601 gets 4/10 for comfort, but of course that's just my opinion.
Wow. For me it gets a 10/10. The bumps on the K702 don't even remotely bother me. The big cups were a bit hard to get used to for a few days.
I bet 90% of people would have no problems with the bumps on the K702. I think I remember that they did bother me on the K701 though.
I guess I'm weird because the DT-880 is the most uncomfortable headphone in the world to me. Yet it's perfect for most everyone!
