I would like to see mid-end Sennheisers (i.e. HD558,598).

I feel happy you can buy the hd558 at futureshop but it's $250. It went on sale one time for $150 though.

They're wonderful entry points, classics, and they don't have sticker shock.
The uninitiated will appreciate their good sound and they'd sell themselves.
Sure, the high-end stuff is better, but convincing someone to part with $300+ isn't easy. An excellent sub-$100 headphone will be an easier sale and you'll have a happy customer.

I would second this recommendation, plus add a couple of Koss's - KSC-75's and Portapro's are always good and inexpensive.  A few Sennheisers would be good, too.  They have a huge range of offerings and some of the more inexpensive models are also good introductions into audiophile quality headphones.  Plus, Sennheiser seems to really support their retailers.
