I was given a pair of Sennheiser eH 350's as a birthday present in August. They've completely replaced the Logitech desk speakers that I was once quite proud of (and the white earbuds, obviously). I now can barely stand to listen to Logitechs when I have company. I had no idea what I was missing!
Unfortunately, the logical conclusion here is that there is still plenty of room for improvement. After reading a few threads here it seems like the Alessandro MS2's might be a good bet.
Am I right? What will they sound like in comparison the 350's? I want headphones for home use that are good primarily for rock and folk, but also usable occasionally for hip-hop, electronic, and classical.
The idea here is that a large purchase will leave me satisfied for the next few years. The MS2's are at the upper end of my price range.
