Headphone prices increased

So im looking at buying some new phones after my HD 555's tore themselves apart ,the stress crack issues became worse. Though it's my fault for sleeping in them. Anyway I was gonna just buy some new HD-555's, cheap and great. but they are now $160 and the 595's are around $250. Is this because of the Economy or are they just old models.

They're old and have technically been replaced.

You might have better luck keeping an eye out for upcoming sales on the 558.

Some place sell stuff at higher prices, because some people do not shop around for the best price.

Just shop around for a few days and check the prices as they tend to fluctuate a lot.

Look at used headphones. You'll get a better deal.
