Headphones for gaming and music under $150?

Hey everyone!

I am looking to purchase some headphones that I can use for gaming, and for music, for under $150.  I need a good sound stage, bass that isn't horribly lacking, and if they look sexy, that's also a plus!

I have seen suggestions of A700's, but to be honest, I have used them and didn't care for them a whole lot.

Any suggestions?  Thanks everyone!  :D

Have you thought about the AD700's? ~ it's king as a gaming headphone, especially for shooters.

My recommendation would be to save up some more and get the AD900's which improve on

every aspect of the AD700.

You can get them for about $190USD in some places.

I have not tried them. I do like the price though!  I saw they are about $85 USD.  Is there anything better for a bit more expensive under $150?

What are these headphones going to be plugged into, I'm assuming it's a Windows PC.

Are you using on board sound or an installed sound card (make & model)?

Yes, Windows 7 64bit. The sound card is a THX TruStudio PC.

Before looking at headphone, I looked at the Logitech G930. Would these suggestions be better?

The bass on the AD700s is pretty thin though.  For around $150, you could try the ATH-M50 if you haven't heard that as a suggestion before.  I'm not sure how good it is for gaming, but it's a good choice for listening to music.  Sennheiser HD558s might work as well.

HD598s... usually sell for ~$160.  Meets your criteria, depending on how you define "sexy" headphones.

The HD558s would also work, 120 vs 170.

Beyerdyamic DT440. They have better bass impact extension than the AD700 as well as much better soundstage than the MS-1 and pretty much any closed phone you can find in the price. HD555/558/595/598 might work too but I prefer the DT440 over the HD555.
