Build your own portable AMP

Thread Starter

Hi,

I had a question, a long while ago i saw a topic on head-fi about a portable AMP that you could build for 100 dollars or get it assembled for a bit more money here on head-fi. Since i wanne start building my own AMP i would like to know if anyone else remembers that topic, if yes what was the link of it.

Thank you!

Thanks but i don't think it was a cmoy amp but i'm not sure. If i can't find it i will make my own cmoy amp i think using http://tangentsoft.net/ but is the "required part" list on his site up to date?

Thanks!

No idea, never built one.

Could it have been this amp?

Also, the Objective 2, or O2 for short. Designed purely on specs and measures if you like that sort of thing.

Thanks guys! It's the Objective 2 that i ment.

I'm gonna start first with the CMOY

Instead of 220 µF35 V electrolytic capacitor, radial leads i got 50V and instread of 0.1 µF polypropylene film cap 200 volt i got 400 Volt.

As op-amp i'm still thinking of what i should use,

My options:

OPA658P

OPA2132PA

OPA623AP

OPA445BM

OPA541AP

I hope it will work
