Hifiman price drops?

I was looking on Hifiman's store, Head-Direct, looking at the HE-500s and I noticed the price is now $699.  I thought they were selling for $899.  The HE-300 is $249 now too.  Is this a promotion, or something longer term?

edit - I guess this is more then a promotion, The HE-300 and HE-500 are getting a longer term price decrease, with a small increase to the HE-6...

The question would then be, will there be any changes in build quality?

Heya,

 

I think that's fantastic. Lol. I paid more for my HE-500's. If that's the "new" price, then the used prices will be much more attractive. $500 HE-500's anyone? That's freaking amazing right there.

Yes, that IS good news.  Making me think twice about my T1s I was thinking of purchasing.  Very different beasts, I realize.....but, that is a great price.  Hmmmmmmm.
