Hi there people, Vic from Swedenland here.
Last week I bought three old/vintage (whichever you prefer I guess) headphones on our equivalent of Ebay. Just thought I'd come on here to ask if anyone knows anything about any of these headphones. I should add that Sweden does not have as big of a market for old electronics as ebay offers the US, we're about 9.5 million people after all. Here's a picture of the three of them. Description by me, from left to right.
Foster RDF-218
The Foster fully covers the ears fully and has the best bass, there is some play in the plug though =/ (Cost me: $4.50)
Alarik CIS-3000
With its superior noise cancelling (They're on ear phones, which I didn't realize before openening up the packaging) and Audio Technica internals, according to the seller they're 70's. They're also the heaviest. (Cost me: $105)
MAEDEN SOUND MD-802D
I happened to get a third pair for headphones too, a set of what turned out to be the worst out of the three with a lack of bass, cheap feel to it and most likely the least "vintage" out of the three. (Cost me: $7.50)
Now I know very little about electronics and headphones in general so I thought I'd see if any of you know anything about these models, I've tried some googling but haven't really found anything (the Alarik's were especially a dead end)
EDIT: Here's my "set up". God my apartment is always a mess.
