Using OYAIDE interconnects as headphone cables

Went into a Russian hi-fi shop in St. Petersburg a few days ago while on a visit to my gf's family,  and saw they're selling Oyaide cable (HWS-22W) which appears to be designed as an interconnect, for headphone cable use.

 

Is this proper? I'm all hot for Oyaide products. Is there any technical reason not to use it for a cable replacement project I am planning for my Beyerdynamic t5p's (32 ohm headphones).

I'm not sure about using twin axial interconnect cable (which is supposed to be a shielded twisted pair, for one channel) to have the shield be the ground and then left and right channels intertwined in the cable.  Using one run for left and one run for right would work great, though.

Yes, I was planning to use two runs. In this case, I don't have to use the shielding, right?

It's up to you whether you float the shields or connect them to the negative pole of the 1/4" or 1/8" plugs - if you use them with XLRs then connect the shield to pin 1.
