The AKG K270s are the classic, big huge studio headphones. There is little doubt if you see someone in these cans, they're tracking tasty licks on a new album. Despite their size, they do tend...

I'll keep this very short. They are very smooth sounding. Treble toned down so not so good for rock but have a magic about them that makes them better than mark 2. I use them with a '89/'90...

Bought these on whim, for your basic train ride to work I don't mind. But its far from being the best I have own.

First, I should note that I auditioned these both straight out of the box, without any break-in time and then later after 53 hours of break-in. Recent scientific studies have shown definite...

A very all-round headphone for me. Just the right one to take on the go or on holiday. Also as a DJ, nice noice isolation. Very durable so you don't have to wonder if it will break if you throw...

i got mine today... for around 30 bucks, I'm currently in Korea
and whats up with the tips and the yellow plastic thingy??
the yellow thing is so big most tips don't fit, and even if they do fit, its almost impossible to remove! And the yellow thing with stock tips sounds crap
I just take out the yellow plastic thingy and just put my Sony Hybrids on the tiny around thing.
I thought BA drivers didn't need burn in, when i tried them new, it sounded crap (with the Hybrids) but after leaving them on for about 20 minutes, they sounded noticeably better! is it just me??
EDIT: and btw, sorry for saying 'thing' and 'thingy' too much, theres no other way to say it...

I only heard them through the loaner tour, so I have no idea who they look like out of the box and what's included. But I have no idea what you're referring to regarding the "yellow thingy". Post a picture?
The rotating nozzles were already blue/red on the unit I had, so I'm not sure where they would add a "yellow thingy".

That looks to me like the nozzles. But instead of yellow, they were red and blue. I remember -y0- saying that they came with replacements so I'm assuming those are it, in case they ever break.
