Hi, i was wondering if anybody has found a suitable replacement cable for the HD598 yet, I am about to get it, but the only thing stopping me, and for me, its a real deal breaker, is that the cable is 10 ft long, way to impractical for my use.
The 3M long cable is supposed to be "user replaceble" but even the Sennheiser store dosnt have it
I only found 1 way from another thread, there is a store in England you buy a replacement cable from, for $21 than add another $18 just to shorten it and convert the end to 3.5 mm. And thats without shipping here to the states.
Other than that i still haven't seen any other solutions, seems like people have given up.
