Amp for Sennheiser HD 448

Hello all. I reccently bought a pair of HD 448's. I'm going to be using an iPod Touch 4G and the iPod Nano 6G, and I was wondering, should I buy an amp? And if so, which one? My budget is 0-100 dollars.

FiiO E11, I have that amp and that amp, it made them sound amazing. You could also talk to gary and get yourself a Pa2v2 from http://www.electric-avenues.com/amplifiers.html. FiiO- 65$ around there

Pa2v2-60$ flat

Would I also need a DAC, or no?

You should buy a new descent pair of headphones and not an amp or a Dac.....wink.gif

You seem to have a strong opinion against the Senn 448s. What headphones would you recommend for personal use (laptop, iPod, Movies) and are also closed so I won't distract others and cost less than 115$ ?

You could try to find the M50's for cheap. Or get the Shure SRH440.
