Looking for a solid stereo system - Yamaha MCR-040??

I'm looking at getting maybe getting this, the Yamaha MCR-040BR Micro Component System. 

 

Does anyone here have this and know if sounds good? I would be looking to just have something that could easily fill my small room with good sound, and also have a good DAC specifically for when I want to use headphones. I just want something that can play CD's, radio, and some sort of external input option.

 

If anyone knows of something else that does let me know.. I listed the Yamaha because it looks sexy and seems to have pretty good reviews on amazon, plus I'm probably going to be getting an ipod soon so the connector would be a nice plus. It is a bit more then I want to be spending though...
