Part 1.
I find Justin Bieber's Baby (ft Ludacris) to be very catchy. It's got a really nice rhythm.
I'm not talking about audiophiles here, I'm talking about the general public.
Why do people hate mainstream artistes?
Skrillex was the feshizzle once upon a time (claims some dude on Youtube), and then people started hating him because he went "mainstream".
My Chemical Romance had a pretty good first album (I Brought You My Bullets You Brought Me Your Love) but then people started hating them on their subsequent albums.
Linkin Park, etc.
WHY.
Part 2.
Does owning better gear move you away from bands/musicians you previously liked because their music sounds like trash on better gear?
Whatever happened to enjoying music? By listening to tracks that sound good on your gear, aren't you really just enjoying your gear?
Part 3.
I've been thinking. You know how we always say how we pity the people who are still stuck with stock earbuds/headphones? What about the people
who drink $30 bottled water? Do you think they would look down on us normal people who drink water from pipes? Because some people equate audiophiles
to be a snobby group of anti-social people. My mom's into handbags and stuff and I'm like why mom? Why spend more than fifty on a bag?
And then she's all, why don't you use stock earbuds?
._.
That is all, ladies and gents.
Just finished downloading DSOTM, brb.
