how do they compare to audio technica ATH-m50s?

I don't know how they are compare to the m50, but they are pretty nice for their price.
Sound not that detailed compare to good cans but the sound signature is pretty good. nice bass and good mids\higs.

+1, my advice is not to bother with any headphones in the 70-100 dollars price range other than the M50, you'll likely be dissapointed. The M50 sounds like 200 dollars headphone, which ironically had been its selling price for years since its release.

ok thanks. I can't even tell how much these eh 150's cost. I see in one place they're being priced at $10 and in other place they're being priced at over $100. I bought these years and years ago and I don't even remember how much I bought them for.

aren't they out of production? that can do weird things to pricing. i always took note of their many postive reviews on amazon, and seem to remember that they were in the $30-50 range. did they get replaced by the HD 203? never heard them myself.

Yeah they're out of production, they're very old. I bought them a long time ago. I don't remember how much they cost. They sound pretty good but I'm not a audiophile, I've never owned a pair of headphones that cost $100+

 

anyway, my question was just if the ATH-M50's were better and I assume that they are, since they're newer and they cost more.
