Mysterious Focalprice IEM's = AMAZING! Impressions and comparisons inside - Page 7

Well, I ordered a white CK-700 but never received it as well as the CK-1000 (wood) and I'm actually pleasantly surprised at how good they sound. They're warm, bass driven and actually sound quite good. There's a tiny bit of shrillness about the upper midrange but nothing that can't be mitigated with EQ or ignored outright. Well worth the $6 they're being sold for.

Really disappointed that my CK-700s have been lost in shipping or whatever (guess I should've sprung for the registered airmail) but I'll be contacting Focalprice about my money. It's a paltry sum but I can't just let them keep my money.

That's ok as long as I'm not (Ds)nuts. :)

I got 4 new IEMs in the past week, but these focalprice cheapos has got the most playtime. I haven't even used my RE-0 for more than a few songs and they were just for comparisation.

These aren't nearly as good technically, but there's something more than that in these cheapos. Magically fun and addictive. Also the silicone tips are one of the best I've ever used.

Meh, I received my CK800s and they don't even have the channel balance right, the left ear is way off...

Too lazy to go and complain about them as they'll most likely ask me to send it back and it'll probably cost more than what the original CK800s cost me.

I haven't listened to my CK700s for a long time now!

Subscribed to this thread and ordered my black CK-700 yesterday from focalprice. 6 USD is not a big waste...

I have preivously purchased 3 Kanen KM-92 wood iems from focal and gave 2 of them to my friends as gift. Both of them liked the KM-92 very much!

I generally use GR-07 as my main iem. But sometimes I use my KM-92 and really like the sound (but they need some EQ'ing though to kill the heavy bass).  In my opinion KM-92 is better than EP-630 and Mee Ai-M6 (I own both).

I hope this 6 USD iem is better than KM-92.

I will inform after receiving it. But it usually takes a month from China to Turkey...

Baycode, delivery was surprisingly fast. I received mine in about a week.

Can anyone compare these Focalprice cheapies (CK-700) to Monoprice cheapies (MEP-933)? biggrin.gif

KM-92 better than M6? Are you shure that uses the right eartips with Mee? For me was hard to find the right ones.

... also ordered two white CK-700 normal_smile%20.gif

Wondering how the black ones sounds.

KM-92 sounds like sh*t for me. Don't know how actually people can listen to music through these earphones. CK-700 are way better.

I have dozens of tips and tried each one with both Ai-M6 and KM-92!

in for 4 white ones (using $2 off $20 coupon)

fiancee will use a pair at the gym, i'll use a pair, and give 2 pairs to friends (because, for a couple extra bucks, why not?)

i'm liking the monoprice ones so far.. i hope these sound as good as the monoprice ones but are more comfortable

These are very comfortable and have one of the best silicone tips I've tried. I don't know how these compare sonically.

+1

Bought a bunch of Kanen woodies, hoping to find a gem. They were all an insult to music in general. Crappiest in-ears I have ever heard. If you want a real bang for your buck, check out the Energy Sistem E212.
