Initially, it sounded okey. then 30 minutes later, i thought i have blown the driver; it sounded so tinny i literally disposed of it. Later seeing my 2 year old daughter playing with it, I decided to give it another go only to be blown away.

Tonight, i let my wife had a listen; big mistake! Now, she wants it as her own. She can't believe this cost only £3.78 plus shipping from China. The bass, mids, treble, instrument separation and soundstage is so unbelievable, i have had to place another order as backups.

Wish there'd be more reviews.

Burn-in is a strange procedure. I noticed that insertion and tips change the sound a lot. These aren't replacing my RE-0s that's for sure, but these are fine alternative with a different aproach. These are really fun, "foot stepping" iems and most of all great bang for a buck.

Won't say anything about the sound yet. I let these babies burn and perhaps I try to mutter more nonsense later. :)

The housing and the plug is very similar to Xears XE200PRO - was € 33 shipped - with great sound.

Ordered a pair of CK-700 right now - how knows... :)

+1

I'm migrating to this thread. Can't handle the monoprice thread.

The Monoprice 8320 are actually pretty good, if you factor in the price it's really awesome. It's just that Dsnuts is, well.......NUTS!

I sorta feel like watching a ridiculous infomercial, think 'tiddy bear' or 'trojan twister'.

I've ordered a pair of those focalprice we'll see how they do.

I like these so much more than my Meelec CW31. Crazy bass has tamed a lot. Kind of missing it although I'm not a bassjunkie. Still these are definitely worth the $6 Focalprice is asking for them.

I don't know why, but I think that I begin to like CK-700 over Xears ultraphile.

The plastic housing looks more like this:

I'm glad I discovered both threads. In my book, there's always room for more than one. I'm in full agreement with the above statement, and am looking forward to the CK-700 as well. Depending on where they stand, I'm hoping to purchase either a few of these or the 8320's for friends and family, or maybe even a mix of both. smile.gif

These are the best bang for the buck cheapies of all time.

If you want good sound and don't want to spend anything, get a pair. They do have a good overall sound. I do not think that the bass is overdone. They go very low and do encroach a wee bit on the mids though. Separation is excellent for such an inexpensive product.

Not "OMG!!" sound unless you factor in the price. Still better than anything else I have heard in the under $50 iem/earbud category.

Spaceman likey. They get me dancing. That means they are good.

So spaceman dance = good sound.

I've always liked budget iems so this is perfect for me.  Picked up a pair of these, the almost certainly fake ex300's, and the monoprices. I won't be able to listen to them for a week but I'm looking forward to seeing how they all sound etysmile.gif

Received mine a hour ago, so far they sound a bit muddy but still I'm impressed, great detail. Will let 'em burn in.

Yes, at first they sounded muddy for me too. Let them play for ~2 hours and you will definetly see the difference.

Burn in helps it most definitely. Like Spacemanspliff said earlier, 'These are the best bang for the buck cheapies of all time'. They impress a lot and hit above their price range.

I just ordered five pairs as christmas presents to my family members. Great gym/beater phones. Only bad things I have noticed are cable microphonics (solution: wear them over the ears) and tiny soundstage.

Do you confirm that black CK-700 sound the same as the white version?

They have same model number and look the same (except color). I'm pretty sure they sound the same. I have ordered 3 pairs of whites and 3 pairs of blacks, but received only 1 pair of white ones.
