I haven't even recieved mine yet.

I haven't even recieved mine yet.

Got the black ones coming my way. Now let's hope the quality isn't heavily batch dependant.
Just got the wooden pair (CK-W1000) yesterday.
The package looks nice, but the sound .. well as they said, you get what you pay for.
I'm burning them in, let's see if they could get better.
I can confirm that the ck-700 and the ck-w1000 sound different. According to the package the ck-700s have a 7mm driver while the ck-w1000s have a 10mm driver.
Out of the box, the ck-w1000s had more midbass, a less hot/detailed mid/treble and much thinner soundstage, while the ck-700s straight out of the box sounded tinny/metallic.
They don't sound as good as my burned in ck-700, but they certainly don't sound bad (better than the cx300-ii, which can cost upwards of $90 here). May i ask what you didn't like about them?
I too have ordered a couple of IEMs from Chinese websites like Dealextreme, Focalprice, Dealperfect, Buyincoins etc. in the hope of finding one gem amidst the turds. I found out it was wiser to just spend $25 on one decent pair of IEMs than buy 5 pair of really crappy $5 IEMs. All the Kanen headphones I got (KM880, KM92, KM928 etc) were utter trash. Not even worth reviewing. The only people I see liking these are, without trying to sound pretentious, people who have no experience with in-ear sound whatsoever. Or really hate music and want it to sound as bad as possible.
Ordered, really wondering how these compare to the Monoprice 8320's.
I'm in.
In for this
Well, I ordered both purely out of curiosity so I'll be sure to give them a fair run down once I get them.
Thanks man.
Please convince some of the others in the Monoprice thread to try them as well.
Got these + my tf10s yesterday. About to sit down and take a listen.
Don't forget the trolls and the bored. The Monoprice thread makes me laugh and facepalm everyday... I enjoy it greatly

May I ask why?
