Play this with the CK-700. It hits hard at 30hz. None of my other IEMs (or full-size) hit nearly as hard at 30hz (if at all). Found the video on the HTF600 thread

CK-700 have really punchy deep bass especially sub bass. I'm very impressed with these IEM's. They enjoy being amped with my E11.
Ordered another pair of these, they're simply to good to be true. I believe bass on these is on par with my Hippo VB, definitely more mid bass and punch, but sub bass is right up there almost along side them. Not to mention the mids and highs sound clearer over my VB's. There's something certainly mysterious about these CK-700 the Y splitter is 'identical' to that of my Hippo VB and the drivers in them do not sound like they should come from something this price. I'm inclined to think these drivers are OEM from a brand we all know, which brand is the question.
I've put away my Phillips SHE3580, SoundMAGIC E10, Hippo VB and Sony MDREX300 because these offer better sound. I've gone back and forth for days and these win hand down. There is one problem with my pair though, the left and right channels have been wired wrongly which means left piece in the right ear etc. but eh...there's no stopping these from my collection.
I found this picture of Hippo Whites, same housing, same Y spilter, similar cable. The Mysteriousness thickens more so.
Ck-700 don't have the Chin slider though.
I believe these CK-700 are OEM from someone we know. It could be for Hippo. This photo is very suspect to me indeed.

The CK-700 are true stars! You won't believe what you're hearing, half the people that haven't tried them reading this must think we're a bunch of loons! lol They're easy to drive, have deep sub bass extension my $100 IEM's don't even have. Soundstage is 'wide', and everything just works. My only complaint is they can be a little harsh at times after extended use, but still....nothing to worry about. You're right they will take about a month as mine did, but well worth the wait! Not long after you'll wish you bought two pairs.
I still think there's something very magical about them!

They are pretty good. I scrapped out the filter on the end of the nozzle and put just a tiny bit of cotton from a q-tip and then put filters from my RE-262 back over and that helped to tame some of the spiky treble. Or using a comply helps cut down on some treble.
How did you scrap out the filter, isn't it a metal mesh ?
i used a pin and tweezers. You can experiment with the amount you use. Too much and it kills highs and bass. But right now, I've got it where I want it, removing sibilance and some of the midbass.
I just stumbled upon this. I'm waiting for my MP 8320 to arrive, and I think I'll add a pair of these. The free shipping thing is what makes these win it for me, since Monoprice charged like 30$ to have a 7$ IEM shipped to Portugal. I wanted to get the black ones and the wood ones, although the latter are out of stock. Anyone know how the woodies compare to the rest?
Ah, another cheapo iem. Just ordered white ck-700 today. I can't wait to compare these to the Monoprice 8320.
Because they are so cheap I ordered ck-900 and ck-1000 iem from same company along with CK-700, Though the woodies were not burntin, straight from the box they are warm bass driven iem.
Works like a charm, yesterday I played with this and now I have treble to my liking with this mod.
But if you scrape the filter and add cotton, and you get more recessed/less piercing highs, the cotton is filtering more I suppose. How was the bass affected?
