Best sub $200 DAC for speakers, HRT music streamer II?

Just USD DAC, no amp section required, the speaker have built in amp, I don't use headphones. Would HRT music streamer II be the best choice?

I had the newest version HRT MS II which was on my living room rig connected to a 2011 Mac mini. Then I bought the II+ and brought the II to work. I found that they sounded so similar that I question my choice of not getting another II and just saving some money. The MS II is a great DAC and I am really looking forward to their future models etc.

The Musical Fidelity V Dac is great for the money, lively sound. Check out some reviews

That's a bit higher then the OP's sub $200 mark.

Save some money and get a Behringer UCA202 or X-Fi Go! (which will need a 3.5mm-to-RCA cable if your speakers use RCA) for $30. Both have pretty bad headphone amps, but great DACs.
