Fostex t50rp, or AT M50, or one of the Superlux models?

Looking for slightly in your face, intimate sound signature. I'm used to a V signature from my triple-fi's. Though wililing to try another sound signature for different genres.

Will run off my onboard pc--> digital out---> Yamaha receiver--->headphone out.

Was going to use it for a while till I my DX1000 get repaired by JVC.

M50 misses mids, so unless you eq that way up, it will sound rather body-less.

A lot of Superlux models seem to have over-the-top highs, but everything else is quite nice and neutral, so if you eq the treble down they should be pretty nice.

Not too sure about the t50rps, from what I've read here, it has awesome mids (creates intimacy in terms of sound signature), great highs, and ok bass, but suffer from electrostatic headphone issues like reverb etc.

Perhaps Grado's for you?
