Strangest comment ? I was telling a guy about STAX headphones and he was like :"$5000 ? Those are not even made of gold !" The most annoying would be :" You just hate the Beats because you are too poor to afford them, those graphs (THD and FR) are just for show and they mean nothing." Funny comment from a guy who gets top marks in all of his subjects.

Yes, a lot of people think that way. It is true in that concept (excluding the beats). I doubt the kid will have top marks in Physics (especially on the subject: Sound) from the way he talks.

Funny thing, the guy is actually one of the top students in physics. Has anyone else got people saying weird things about tri-flange tips ? I once got a comment thats NSFW.

Otherwise...No comments, just a bunch of stares for actually using full size cans. It's like they're extinct?

Oddly enough, there are a few (black) kids who have XB-300/500/700.

One of my friends did comment whenever I put shades on with my HDJ500, it looks "Terminator" serious.

Yeah! I think that's odd too - it's either IEMs or beats, that's about it except for the XB line, they seem to be really popular. Not to people that have done much headphone research, though, cuz I have a habit of asking if they're using the 300,500 or 700 and they just look at me funny :P (they're so similar that I sometimes have a job to see)

 

By the way, is it weird that I tend to stare at people until I've determined which headphones they're using? (and once I do figure it out, I point and say it..)

Perfectly acceptable IMO. I do it all the time, but if it takes a while it does get awkward rolleyes.gif
