Replace current sound card or get DAC/AMP combo?

Currently, I have an Auzentech Prelude I've had for a few years. Ever since I upgraded to 7 it pops/crackles randomly and it's finally just making me lose my mind. I also have a Little Dot II++ headphone amp. Should I just replace the sound card with another, or should I get a combination amp/DAC like the Hi-Fi Man EF2A?

Side note: I play games as well as just listen to music.

Thanks!

I don't have an opinion based on experience but from what I have read, an external setup would avoid all the noise inside a computer.  I would think that would be better also for other sources to run through the amp/dac combo instead of just being dedicated to the computer.  Sorry I couldn't be more helpful.

An ASUS Xonar Essence STX could do you good. Its output impedance won't be ideal for your headphones but it's close enough that the effects will be small. It'll be able to power all of them. And it'll give you Dolby Headphone for gaming, which you may or may not like.
