I'm confused which is better between this?

http://reviews.cnet.com/headphones/denon-ah-d2000/4507-7877_7-32340590.html

and for beats i can't find anything specifications.

Philips headphones is only for 250$, have a detachable cable and so big frequency response: 5 - 40,000 Hz, big speaker diameter  50mm.

Denon have little more big frequency response, but the cable is so thin. And i want durable headphones with more than good sound, but I don't have more than 400$.

Beats by dr.dre have a good cable and only for that I add then to the list, never wrote any information on them and praise them a lot, so I decided to consult.

I am far from expert, but my favorite pastime is to listen music while work (6-12 hours per day).

What is different between  Impedance:  32/24/40 ohm? What is butter?

In short I want headphones with most pure and accurate sound with good durability

Thanks for all, big apologies for my bad english.

Definitely don't get the beats if you want pure and accurate sound.  Also, pay no attention to headphone specs, as they have little to do with actual sound quality.

Where'd you get the idea that the D2000's cable was thin?

Heya,

Get the Denon D2000. Alternatively, get a Fischer Audio FA-003.

And butter is something you spread on bread. tongue.gif

Very best,

Can't go wrong with the D2000s. Welcome to Head-Fi. Sorry about your wallet. atsmile.gif

O, you have a AH-D2000. Just saw that is connected twice, but for me it is more likely to break the cable, as I am not an expert, but I'm a fan of deep, clear sound. I have not had either one of these headphones, I just liked this if all that I found for this money. I'll be glad to see your opinion :) I do not want to offend anyone with my incompetent opinion.

The D2000s go deeper and are clearer than the Beats.  I can't comment on the Phillips headphones.

Stole it from me, that was gonna be my line wink.gif

It does help to know your music preferences, but for clear and accurate sound, go D-2000s. Other than that, I've heard the Ad700s praised for their accuracy, not necessarily neutrality, but that was coming from the likes of an ordinary gamer, who I'd take his opinions with a grain of salt.

Thanks for everything! I read and read and then I saw that need to buy and Amp + DAC for another $ 550 to get a good sound. http://www.headphone.com/headphone-amps/amplifiers/headroom-portable-micro-amp.php Obviously I will need to delayed the purchase. Again many thanks. Once I get the salary will think about it. Finally, I stopped in the D2000.

Edit:

@Hifianddrumming, I listen many different style like House, Reggae, Jazz, Blues, Classical, Pop, Rock and more, depends on mood.

You would be fine with something like an Asus Xonar STX headphone amp combined with some Denon D2000 you dont HAVE to spend $550 on a Dac + Amp Combo...

Those Philips are way overpriced, you can still find them for about $150 or less, shipped.

I love mine, but have aftermarket pleather pads that bring up the overall bass and sound quality a bit more. They have, from what I am led to believe, the same drivers as the SHP 1000 model that those who actually owned, loved. I know why. Philips is an underrated brand on here so don't expect much response for those.

I haven't had any build quality issues with mine some of the older Philips did have some issues with the hinge area cracking, depends how rough you are going to get with them. There's a bit of creaking sometimes during use nothing major for my pair that can't be helped with a touch of silicone grease if needed. If you are moving around a lot @ work there it may get to you, but I don't notice it much at all. They have an extremely long cord as well, but that's replaceable too as it just screws in.

I can listen to these for hours without fatigue from either the fit or sound quality, and they are up there for time used with what I have. Unless I'm mistaken I think they were referred to as the "poor man's Sennheiser 600" Tempted to buy a spare set for myself.

Obviously you did some searching for either model in here.

I won't speak to the Denons I don't own them.

Are you just limited to these choices due to what's available for you locally? Why not explore other options first as well. Definitely DON'T pay $250 for the 9000's they are good in my opinion but not worth spending that much when there's so many other options at that price.

I have not listened to any of those headphones.

But the choice is easy, Denon AH-D2000.

Have you check out the Audio Technica ATH-A900, not as bassy as the AH-D2000, but they are cheaper.

Most headphones sold are in the 32 to 50-Ohm range,

it's when you go to the 150-Ohm to 600-Ohm range that you really need the headphone amplifier.

How can you say that, based upon what I'm curious?

Brand, build, sound or other?

Can you clarify for him the reason so he can get a grasp of all his options,  he is new here .

Didn't Denons have issues with screws falling out? ( maybe just a few models )

...who knows

Most things people say about Dr Dre's Beats is their overpriced.

Owners of AH-D2000 always have great things to say about them.

Rarely do you see anyone promoting Philips headphones and I'm sure lots of Head-Fier have owned them.

I started out saying "I have never listened to any of those headphones", so I'm not miss leading them about my 2 cents, or that I have some expert opinion on those headphones.

Oh I guess my post came across as negative, not meant to be. I was just coming back to edit it up :) Sorry if it seemed harsh. It's not like we can all own every single headphone anyhow, however nice that would be L3000.gif. And hence what reviews are for.

Out of those choices I'd probably go for the Denon , strictly out of build durability ( compared to the other 2 options ) and as you said the amount of posts. Philips is always a wierd thing. Except maybe the new one, but that's another thread.

You not that negative or harsh.

There are a few really condescending AHs on this website that really stand out.
