In comparison to Bose headphones, Bose sound better than Beats and Skullcandy. :P

Very minor differences, they sound just about the same. Better build quality with the HD model.

With better amps the soundstage improves between the models I believe. I have the V10 Deadmau5 edition, the tracks Ultra V12 and the master tracksX3. I like the Master Tracks the best.

Yeah, these are a great entry/mid level pair of headphones. I would recommend them. They have a cool style while still providing great sub-bass, and it does well with treble overall. Much better than any mainstream monster headphones. They're cheap too, you don't overpay for sound quality. You can find them for 60$ on Amazon. http://www.amazon.com/SOL-REPUBLIC-1211-01-Interchangeable-Headphones/dp/B005LW1AT2/
