HD598 + matrix m-stage? wise coice of amp?

I am planning to get a new headphone and a more powerful amp.

 

I am currently using SRH840 with HUD MX-1. It serves me well and I really enjoy it.

However, I think it is time to 'upgrade'.

 

I am planning to get HD598 in a few days and i wonder if using matrix m-stage will fit the sound signature of HD598? and better yet, will it suits the SRH840 sound too?

To me, the 598 didn't really benefit from having an amp. Sure everything sounded better, but not a lot compared to the price. Other headphones will have larger improvements.

can u give me an example around that price range? (+-$100)

What I meant was that the improvements the HD598 receive from an amp is not as much as other cans

i think i will buy hd650 instead and get that matrix amp with it
