Hi All,

 

New here and working on my first HP recable. From what I understand 24 AWG Silver wire seems to be the popular choice. I plan on using this (4 strands) in a Litz braid covered in Techflex.

 

I am aiming for about a 10 foot cable length (give or take a foot) and am wondering, from your experience, how much length is lost to Litz braiding? If I am aiming for 10 feet roughly how long should I cut each strand?

 

Sorry if this has been answered before, I couldn't really find an answer using search.
