Should I Get Samsons sr850?

Hello guys, first time poster big time lurker.

 

According to my reading in this awesome site I've decided to buy these cans for gaming, movie/anime watching and music (in that order).

 

I don't own a sound card as of right now, are these cans able to work right without being amped?.

 

If you guys have another option for me to look at, I will.

Samson SR850 (32-Ohm) should be just as good as any other can without using an amp (at that price range).

You can build a half way decent headphone amps for $20 worth of parts.
