Serious Noise Cancelling/Isolation Headphone (Budget $100)

Hi,  my roommate has his TV running 24 hours a day.  There's a very thin wall between his room and mine.  He also rarely leaves the house.  I can hear everything even during the day and I'm not going to go in detail during the night.     Are there any good headphones that can block out the noise?

How about buying your roommate a pair of headphones? biggrin.gif

I'm not crazy about noise cancellation. It has a way of strangling the music along with outside noise. Typical closed headphones aren't that isolating, either.

Would you consider IEMs? They're terrific for isolation and can sound very good, too.

Try ATH ANC7B by audio technica. They are really good and reduce up to 75-90 percent in noise. Though they leak a little(but come on!). Mids and bass is good. Runs on a single battery and also able to play music without it. They might exceed your budget by 16 dollars but its a full size headphones which isolates best

What's the difference between ATH ANC27b and ATH ANC27?
