Anyone know of a mini connector that will fit these to replace the locking right-angle connector on the headphone itself? I replaced the HP connector on mine with a Neutrik as the stock connector did not fit my extension cable very well. I noticed that these use very small enameled conductors in them. I did a 4-wire ohm measurement of the stock cable end-to-end and found that these are measuring ~1.9 ohms, vs. 0.04 ohms for a longer run of Mogami mini. I'm sure I got the enamel burned off when I soldered the new connector on, but had trouble trying to tin the stock conductors. I would like to basically build a new cable for these if possible. If need be, I could put in mini-XLRs or something like that instead of the stock mini jack.

A very all-round headphone for me. Just the right one to take on the go or on holiday. Also as a DJ, nice noice isolation. Very durable so you don't have to wonder if it will break if you throw...

I don't own these myself but if you have a good close-up of the
connector I will help you hunt for it.

Here's what it looks like compared to a Neutrik RA:
This connector from Markertek looks like it would work, but not sure if it could be taken apart and adapted or not.

So it's just a locking, right angle 3.5mm TRS..?
The molded one that comes on the T50PR is probably a contract manufactured part
and not available to the public...

I was looking at some pictures and it looks like the locking socket is molded into the shell.
The whole locking scheme may just be unique to Fostex.
I have seen some locking 3.5mm TRS and they did not look like bayonet mount.
This example threads on...
It is supposed to thread onto a connector like this...
I will keep my eyes open but it may be a fruitless search...

^ I've read that thread (and mine are modded in a similar fashion), and no one has mentioned one yet. These really sound like crap out of the box.
I have a connector on order and if it works, i will post what it is when I receive it. Thanks though.
