Looking for an All-in-one Solution < $300

Thread Starter

I've been eyeballing the NuForce HDP for a few hours now, but at $450 Canadian, I can't seem to swallow that price tag.

I currently use the Maverick D1 TubeMagic DAC (similar to the Zero DAC for those who don't know), and I feel the need to upgrade.  Here's the silly part: This is going to be mostly for Senheisser HD555's and or Denon D2000's, neither which would benefit greatly from an amp.

By ''all-in-one'' solution, I refer to these specific functions:

- USB DAC/amp combo

- RCA out to go into a receiver to power bookshelf speakers

Does such a thing exist that would perform at or near the NuForce HDP for cheaper?

EDIT:  Oh, I'm also willing to buy used if this will make decisions easier~!
