i am not here to comment on how great her voice/style/skill is. what i want to say is that as an engineer this is another example of properly recorded music. only compression where it is needed yet almost no clipping on a high end system. plus all the other examples of good recording techniques. on my stock car stereo it sounds a lot less good. that right there proves it is a good recording. a good recording will sound poor on a poor system and good on a good one. today most recordings are made to sound good on a poor system. thus, sounding poor on a high end system. you cannot get both and today's market is filled with $100 stereos and 128kbps mp3's. so the music is recorded that way. i am glad they showcased her with quality recording. she deserves it. ok, so i sort of just did comment on her oh well. i scour the shelves for the very few recordings like this. i can't stand listening to sub par recordings even if i like the artist. out of my tens of thousands of redbook cd's perhaps 100 are really worth listening to. i'll add this one to the list. i guess that makes 101 lol.
