Hi everyone,

 

I'm fairly new to tube amps and I hope someone can help me out. I purchased a DV 332 together with some extra tubes to complement my senn hd650. I removed the stock tubes and I'm currently listening with Western Electric WE 403a  and Russian Audiophile 6s19p-v. tubes. Now I have three questions:

 

- I see two short tubes en two longer tubes. Which ones are the pre en which the mains?

- which tubes are more responsible for sound/colour (I don't know if that's correct English)

- I prefer an, as bright as possible, sound with my hd650's (yet, I like these can's though), in this case, which tubes are most suitable?  I can  get my hands on a pair of Svetlana 6s19p's. How will they sound?
