I find I don't know what's going on

Well I have an ipod and still have the original earphones. My hand has now been forced; I have super-glued the things back together more than once, but now the right earphone is going out so I need new ones.

I have a $60 or less price range, I like bands like disturbed, linkin park, and demon hunter (favorites being indestructable, warriow, ribcage, storm the gates of hell, all of hybrid theory album; haha). Not entirely related, but I'm just trying to give you an idea of what I listen to.

I don't know what's what with earphones, and I haven't had much luck with research since rating them seems so subjective. I want to know what you all think, and I'll just buy some.

On a totally different note, trying to sign up to your forum with a mobile device is a nightmare. The sign up box moves around and goes off screen and does it again when you find it again. I had to get on my computer to sign up.

I don't know whether it would work with your genres, so listen out for other suggestions, but the Beta Brainwavz (v2) IEM are very good for their price. They're $28, and they sound better then my $100 Sony MDR-EX90's. Of course, from what I've read, the EX-90's are mediocre IEM's and the Beta's the otherway around, but still, I didn't except $30 to sound better then $100. Although the quality isn't so great, with them being all plastic and the cable being a little....bleghy and thin, I think as long as you don't abuse them too much, they should be just fine. You should read some reviews about other IEM's around here, though.

The Sony EX310, EX510 are highely recommended because both sound big and clear with punchy bass. They built sturdy and comes with lots of accessories include many extra tips. The EX310 has more bass punch but little less clear than EX510 and instruments shine with good separation on EX510.
