Best Sounding Cowon?

Hi there,

 

I’ve been looking all other but cant find the answer anywhere? I own a Cowon E2 but need a stronger Cowon (with more storage and most of all a longer lasting battery). Thing is; are the X7 120gb (specifically) - and the J3, S9, C2 etc etc ~ have they got better sound quality compared to the E2 ??? They all have the BBE settings and all that, but can you please confirm that the X7 has better sound than the E2?
 
Oh and would I need a small amp with a Weston 4 combo?

Do ALL Cowon’s sound the same or is there a differents between the whole MP3 line-up? Cheers!!

Well, the other models have a customizable EQ in addition to the presets that the E2 have.

They better! At 4-6X the price of the one you got..

What i want to see is a comparison of say.....$2-300 IEM + Sansa Fuze vs. $100 IEM + $2-300 Cowon/Hifiman.
