I still get no email with it un-ticked...

Is it due to me having head-fi open? Or on it too often tongue.gif?

 

I don't really mind about the threads - in fact if anything threads i wouldn't really want or care about - what I REALLY need or want is the PM's to be sent via email immediately, if possible.

 

EDIT:
I had it TICKED before - ie. from what I understand UN-PAUSED -> I unticked it, and go no emails for 1-3hrs.

So I've re-ticked it, maybe it needed to be re-ticked, lets see :)

Joe - still not receiving any PM emails nor thread emails.

Joe, not sure if this helps but from what i can recall when i had the issue, it all started when i accidentally clicked on "Set ALL Subscriptions to Site Only" button. Even though I manually changed all the subscriptions back to "Daily Digest", the system was still not sending me the emails. Issue cleared when you suggested to enable "Don't pause".

Ok, it worked partially...
I went to subscriptions, and tapped on site only, and then once more to immediate on all threads.
Woke up this morning with over 30 emails.

Thing is here, I got emails for replies, and even the people i follow, but the most important thing, the pm's i did not receive.

The tech team said you had clicked unsubscribe from one of the emails you had received, which is what stopped your emails from coming through.  Obviously, it's working now.  I'll ask them about the PM emails.

Another update joe:

-PM working - on/off

 

I got now, some emails of PM's.

 

Is it like so?

-If I'm ON the forums, and receive a PM, i DO NOT get an email

-If I'm OFF the forums, and receive a PM I get an email.

 

I would like to get an email of the PM regardless being ON or OFF the forums.

 

And LOL about the unsubscribed from an email, must have been 6+ months ago :D!

I would like to add to this. I also dont get emails anymore. It used to be laggy enough that when i got an email, there would be another whole bunch of replies or it would not tell me right when someone replied, instead waiting until 6-10 people had replied. now, I get nothing at all. I've tried renewing subscriptions, etc.

When I post in a new thread, it will email me exactly once and then never email me updates about that thread again.

Emails are coming in for PM's :D!!

 

Although sometimes very late emails ie:

I get an email about a PM at 5pm

 

Then a following email comes 2hrs later of a PM that was sent at 3pm...

If I have the opposite problem:

 

- participating in a thread will sometimes result in a later email when someone replies.  I have my default set to "Site Only" so I'm always surprised when I'm notified of a reply.  Ideally I'd only get emails when I'm PMed but some days (like today) I'm getting more than that.

 

Should this be in a new thread?

Lurkumaural, can you check the individual subscriptions for the threads you're receiving emails for, to make sure that they're all set to "site only" and not "Immediate"?
