i love the d2000 and the beyer dt770/600ohms...these two gives a good tight low rumble ksc75smile.gif)

the beyer will need an amp to drive it properly. ( there are lower ohms version though i havent tried those)

and i think the beyer will stand up to a goodsize bowlingball.

the hd650 is veiled and will take some good gear$$$ to get it to sound good.

i abandoned that route. and i hated the paintchippings..

You broke a pair of SR60i's in six months, you broke a pair

of D1100's in two months.

One of two possibilities here :-

a) You're very unlucky

or

b) You treat your headphones like absolute crap.

My advice assuming you're not very unlucky? Keep the M50's they're probably the ones

that will last, if you manage to break these eventually - give up on headphones entirely.

Should I be worried? How do we spot the dodgy ones? I take extra care of my cans. I have never had an issue with them to break or split in pieces. I've had the usual, on channel died syndrome :(.

Tighten the screws that you can see.
