Sony MDR-XB300/B and Mormaii Bombastic

Hello!

 

Wondering the difference between these two headphones:

 

Sony MDR-XB300/B

and

 

Mormaii Bombastic

As you can see they are extremely similar. I have already tested my friends' bombastic, I liked it pretty much. Then I searched in Google and found no review of it at all.    

Then I discovered the Sony XB300 and lots of information and some reviews.

 

My question is: Is mormaii's bombastic just a copy of sony's MDR-XB300/B?

Are you sure it's a copy of XB300 and not XB500, the pads as well as the alu shell looks more the size of XB500 IMO and the pads look better quality than XB300's (pleather) and more like XB500 (looks/feels like leather). Are the pads on Bombastic also "on ear" or "around ear", hard to tell from that pic. At least the headband padding at top is absent in case it's XB500. Well it looks like a hybrid XB300/XB500 to me, XB300's headband design with XB500's cups and pads.

Just noticed Sony XB500 is similar to XB300, but in this case I think it is a copy of XB300, as Bombastic is "on ear".
