Hi guys,

I started a new thread asking about DIY amps for the Fischer Audio FA-003's on the headphone amplifier thread but I didn't get many responses so I thought that I would post here. I was wondering what would be a good amp to build for the FA-003's. I've looked up a couple amps like the CK2III or the M3 but I'm not sure what would be the best. I like the CK2III amp because it has a case that I could just buy. I was wondering what you guys would recommend me to build.I'm currently leaning towards the CK2III simply because glassjaraudio sells the kit and it comes with a case.

Would you guys recommend the Ck2III or would it be worth building another amp instead? I'm pretty open to suggestions but I would like to keep the price around 200. Would a DIY tube amp be any good or should I stick with the Ck2III. This would be my first extensive build but I've built a cmoy and have had more practice soldering and wiring. I listen to many different genres of music like hip-hop, classical, some rock, indie, and R & B.

Thanks for the help
