I want the hardest bass hitting headphones for 150-200 cause im not willing to pay 350 for the 900s since everyone says it's mids are reccesed , so, q40? beyers? other ultrasones?

what hits the hardest/ most powerfull bass? i plan on buying a Zo amp later on if needs be.

I am in the same predicament you are. I bough the XB 500 thinking it was going to be an epic trance/house/EDM set of headphones.

But the bass just ruins vocals, synths, and other parts of songs.

People on these forums have directed me towards the Ultrasone HFI-580 for a more balanced sound with better clarity.
