In the market for a good tube amp

Hey guys,

 

Im new to the forums and am looking for some reccomendations. I currently use the Headroom Ultra Desktop amp for my main unit and am interested in seeing what all the fuss is about with these tube amps. For headphones I normally use my Sennheiser HD800's recabled with ALO replacement cables or my Audeze LCD-2's which are also recabled. I listen to almost everything from classical to trance to metal so I'm pretty versitle there. Budget is uncapped but I would like to stay under 2k. Recommendations?

I find myself lusting after the La Figaro 339 right now. For your budget there are currently a couple of Eddie Current Zana Deux's in the FS section.
