I was planning on (and still am going to) getting a BSG cmoy for work when I order my DT-770 headphones, but I got offered a Banzai kit from a guy on overclock.net for $15 shipped, so I figured why not.
I took the kit, but decided I wanted to do it as a dedicated desktop amp. I built the circuit almost to the instructions except I replaced the two 9V batteries with a 12V regulated DC power supply and jack. I also bridged the capacitors with 4.7 kOhm resistors for the virtual ground as specified in a few other tutorials. Also, I found the LED way too bright to always have sitting at my desk, so I just didn't drill a hole for it and it just stays inside the case.
Anyway, here's a few pictures. It looks messy all around, but functions flawlessly, which is all I was really going for on this first iteration.
