What would be the best 110v to 220v converter? Is there one specific to audio devices or any generic device will do?

No way to just exchange it for the correct version?

I have LD MK II and MK III. The power transformer they used in these amps have two primary windings. If you parallel them they are 110V, if you wire the in series they are 220V. If you are DIY handy you know what I mean. For LD you do not need converter, you can mod it.

Hope this help.

Awesome... I don't have it in my hands myself yet but it sounds easy. I can probably handle it, do you have any schematics/videos of it?
