Are the Sennheiser RS 180 headphones compatible with the RS 170 transmitter base?

 

Kinda feel dumb for not doing the research before but ordered them figuring it would since they are pretty close design.

I've heard that's possible. Have you emailed sennheiser? Somebody can confirm this?

This should indicate that that both the two types can be associated to the other type's transmitter.

 

Ok sweet, any idea how to link them? I turned on headphones and base like normal but they weren't on the same 'page'.

Just got email which says to hold base and headphones power button for 7 secs simultaneous. That seems like it did the trick.
