Best speakers for $150?

Hiya guys I'm an audiophile in training here and I was recently given $150 amazon credit for my birthday and I'm looking for a nice set of speakers for my bedroom.

They'll be used for music and occasional movie watching.

I've been doing research and right now the top two contenders are the following:

Klipsch ProMedia 2.1 http://www.amazon.com/Klipsch-ProMedia-Certified-Computer-Speaker/dp/B000062VUO/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1320162915&sr=1-1

Behringer MS20 http://www.amazon.com/Behringer-MS20-Recording-Studio-Equipment/dp/B000IKWBHW/ref=sr_1_9?ie=UTF8&qid=1305809933&sr=8-9

If anyone has comments or suggestions I'd be happy to hear them! :)

M-Audio AV40s get reasonable reviews, and I think they run for ~$140 on Amazon.

What about a pair of Sony SS-B1000's and a stereo amp? That would run right around $150, and From my limited experience, is probably these best you'll do on the new market. (And later you could replace the speakers with something a bit higher end for not too much money, as there's quite a glut of passive speakers on the used market)

Agree with previous poster or have a look at the senior SS-B3000 model with 8" woofer

http://www.amazon.com/Sony-SS-B3000-Bookshelf-Speakers-8-Inch/dp/B000OG6I6A/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1320229395&sr=1-1

Stereo/Power amps could be Audiosource AMP-100, Sherwood RX-4105 or dip the used market (Craiglist, etc)

For $150 and movies, you can't do much better than the Mirage OMD-5.

Very good reviews, and known for an excellent soundstage, though light on bass. Oh, and you'll need an amp for it. A decent receiver should be good enough.
