Nuforce uDAC 2 and Bass - Page 2

Hey Head Injury I just asked the seller on Ebay if I could return it for refund - he said yes, sweet!  Should I get the music streamer II then or Fiio E10 instead??

OK will get the Music Streamer II!   I think it get's trashed on here as well so I'm guessing it should be fairly good then and I might throw in some bloated bass cans with my purchase you know the muddy kind with a dark like black beauty sound and harsh like rough gravel treble lol

It doesn't get trashed, it's actually praised quite a bit, but I'm just unsure of its performance. I doubt it's worse than the uDAC, so don't worry.

You know forget it I think I will strap a subwoofer to my ear, I'm looking for something that will pound my head open like a melon and I will use some spark plugs, some tin foil, paper clips and a toothpick as a DAC - sorted!  I think I will get a really organic Kelloggs crunchy nut cornflake sound you know that perfect headfi sound yeeeeoooo!

I found out the uDac I was given was v1. For the price of free, it beats the on-board sound card right?

I've got the MSII - it's excellent! Combine it with the E9 and you have a good sounding system. I'm running mine on an XP laptop.

I had the MS II briefly, but it didn't play nice with my system:  nasty clicks and pops.  I went back to a uDAC.  Still trying to decide whether to keep the uDAC or the E10.  There's some unpleasant computer noise coming from the E10, and the uDAC-2 might not sound quite as good, but at least it's got a quiet background.

Ok peeps it's all good I ordered the FiiO E10 instead, I ve got it and I love it!  With my JVC HA M750 my head is getting a good pounding with the bass boost on am really happy :D.  It's also really good with the V-Moda Remix and Monster Turbine - sweet!

The bass extension is pretty impressive on the FiiO E10, how the hell is FiiO selling this thing so cheap I honestly don't think anything could touch the E10 at this price range or double for that matter :D
