Trust me, it's not hard to tell which one is which. Left is high power, right is low power. I use the high power one for watching movies because I max out the low power one and it's still not loud enough. In addition, I use a +3 dB boost in Media Player Classic.
When I listen to music, 9 o'clock on the left jack is equivalent to around 1 o'clock on the right one.
